Use of Thuraya/Irridium Satellite phones is banned in India. Unauthorised use of such phones will lead of confiscation of the same and will attract prosecution as per relevant laws governing use of satellite phones in India. Visitors are advised not to carry/use satellite phones during their visit to India.

Scholarships for studying Hindi language in Kendirya Hindi Sansthan, Agra (India), under the Scheme of Propagation of Hindi Abroad.

 India offers two (02) slots every year to students from Vietnam to study Hindi language under the Scheme of Propagation of Hindi Abroad. The scheme is administered by the Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, Agra under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

 The candidates selected for award of scholarship are granted admission by the Sansthan at its headquarter at Agra. The Sansthan also makes efforts to provide hostel accommodation to the selected candidate(s) on nominal charges of Rs. 250/- per month for water, electricity, cleaning etc. The candidate(s), however, are required to bear the expenditure on food that will be provided in the mess. The airfare (economy class) both ways by shortest route for the selected candidate(s) is provided by the Sansthan. Stay in hostel is compulsory. No one will be allowed to stay outside. Candidates must note that only vegetarian Indian food will be served in the hostel i.e. roti, dal, rice and cooked vegetables. It is not permissible to allow any candidate to go back without completing the full academic term. 

 The Embassy of India would like to invite those who are interested in studying Hindi to apply for the scholarship. The applicants are required to be between 21 years to 35 years. Knowledge of Hindi language is a priority. The candidates should be willing to stay in India at Agra for the full academic term and it will not be possible to consider any request for allowing the candidates to stay in New Delhi under any circumstances.

 Invitation for applications for this course for the academic year 2017-18 will be announced in January 2017.
